What is an Adventurous Journey?

The Adventurous Journey is a core component of the Duke of Edinburgh Sydney Award. It encourages a sense of adventure and discovery, as participants plan, train for, and undertake a purposeful journey in an unfamiliar environment as part of a small team. Our Duke of Ed Expeditions Sydney are crafted to foster teamwork, leadership, and a deeper connection with nature.

Narrabeen Nature Quest: Duke of Ed Exploration Details

Basecamp: Narrabeen Lakeside, Sydney’s Northern Beaches
Program Levels:

• Bronze: 1 nights / 2 days

• Silver: 2 nights / 3 days

• Gold: 4 nights / 5 days (can also be completed as a Residential Project)
  Group Size: 7 participants per activity

Embark on the Narrabeen Nature Quest: Duke of Ed Exploration, an immersive and transformative journey led by ECOTREASURES’ expert local guides. Camp lakeside, be self-sufficient, and engage in hands-on activities that align perfectly with the requirements for the Duke of Ed Award NSW.
